I’ve been writing stories for a long time. It’s been a stop-start sort of relationship. 2016 though was my year to change that. I set out with the challenge of writing a new 100 Word Story every day for the entire year. Being a leap-year, that’s 366 stories.
But I failed. I got to 177, before fatigue set-in. I gave-up. The stress of coming up with a new story burned me out. I just couldn’t do it anymore.
It wasn’t a failure though. I created 177 stories. That’s something to be proud of. And I am. As well as getting back writing these mini-tales again., I want to encourage other people to do the same. And, I want to create a platform where other people can share their stories.
That’s what the site is all about. I’ll share some of my own stories, but I want it to be filled with 100 Word Stories from people just like you. People who want to take on the challenge of writing a miniature story.
If that sounds like you, then get involved. If you’ve got a story to share, share it.
